Nakhon Phanom, Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand (4 November, 1972) - Back at NKP Stinger 830 sits at the ready. This is a good shot from the Aft position. Note the space between the twin booms and fusalage. On many a mission anti-aircraft rounds would streak between the booms or between the booms and fusalage, barely missing the main cargo and crew area. Crews who received rounds between the booms became members of the "Goal Post Club."
