Tan Son Nhut, 1970 - The punch of a shadow is visible with its four miniguns sticking out of the gun ports. Each gun port has a deflector shield mounted in front of it. The lightly colored, and slightly angled, area at the top of the photo is the inside of the main landing gear door.Early model Shadow gunships were equipped with SUU-11 gun pods in mounts similar to the AC-47 but later aircraft were equipped with MXU-470 modules.
