Squadron History Book
The
first 20 pages of this 300-page AC-119 Gunship History book are devoted
to the histories of the 71st, 17th, and 18th Special Operations Squadrons
as well as the histories/data of the AC-119G Shadow and AC-119K Stinger
gunships. The remainder of the book contains short biographies of 223
Shadow and Stinger personnel along with war stories and pictures. The
History Book is available in two versions. Hardcover ($50) and a plasticized
cover with plastic coil spiral binding ($35) plus $5 shipping and handling

antiaircraft guns try and down an AC-119K Stinger gunship, the
Stinger wreaks havoc with the North Vietnamese on the infamous
Ho Chi Minh Trail nicknamed "The Blood Road."
These
superb Limited Edition Lithographs by aviation artist Darby
Perrin are copies of the AC-119 Gunship Association's AC-119 paintings
presented to the United States Air Force Museum during the 2004 reunion.
The Lithographs are signed and numbered by Perrin. For more information

Remember
those 20 mission minigun pins we got from General Electric? Well,
Mike Traynor has done a fine job replicating a pin close to the
one we wore in Vietnam. I remember we used to fill in each barrel
with red paint as we completed 20 missions. Many of us had a
few pins on the name tab on our flight suit.This pin is sure
to bring back some fond memories.
